  • this.is.my.pen.name - Don't bother with this one

Usually I really like the collections, but I absolutely hated this collection. Hopefully the next one will be better because reading these was awful. I love reading and I had to force myself to finish this.

  • Oma13 - with the edges slightly uneven and 'worn' looking that makes it appear like ancient tome

This book is a blast The cover is rich and the pages have an 'antique' look and a feel of parchment but aren't thin or flimsy, with the edges slightly uneven and 'worn' looking that makes it appear like ancient tome. It is a lovely book. I am anxious to try the Bangers and Mash!

  • M. Rufe - Better than expected

I knew this was going to be a great bag from all the reviews. This has exceeded my expectations by far.

  • Nina - Boys Only Club ... Almost

Usually, I find the "Best American Travel Writing" books wonderful, but I had trouble getting involved in these essays. I finally realized that all but 2 or 3 or the 19 stories were written by men, giving the book a testosterone-laced flavor. Not that some of the men's contributions weren't excellent. How can you go wrong with Paul Theroux, for example?
