This battery is a perfect replacement for the 12CE5 style. It replaced a battery in a livestock trailer that is used to auto activate the breaks should the trailer accidentally detach from the truck. You wouldn't want a junky battery for that emergency purpose and this battery is the perfect solution!

Generator arrived packaged well with no damage. I went through it to verify that all fasteners were tight and found none loose. Don't forget to remove the shipping brackets before use. Added oil as directed, added gas, started easily with just a few pulls. Be sure to flip the choke for starting and flip it off afterwards. I ran it for 5-6 hours with no load then drained the oil, added a higher quality synthetic. The "break in" oil had obvious signs of metal particulate which makes me glad I deviated from the directions by changing the oil after a brief break in period. I'll plan on repeating this after another 20-40 hours of use. Fuel consumption seems to be on target with advertised specs.
