I love Splat and I have been using it for over a year. I've tried just about every brand of purple hair dye, and this is by far the best! It lasts for about 4 months on my hair and then fades to a lavender that is very pretty--I like it even better than the initial color! My natural hair color is a medium ash blonde, and I've never had to bleach it, the Splat just covers it right up. I know lots of people like special effects, but this color is much stronger and lasts a lot longer, and it is very gentle on your hair without any damage or stripping. I'm totally after the best bang for my buck, money and nutrition-wise, so when I saw this, I was impressed with the calorie/carb/protein ratio and intrigued by the reviews for the rocky road flavor. Can a protein shake NOT taste mildly chalky? I ordered the 2 lb tub because I figured I'd get the smallest size in case it tasted like moldy socks or gave me mud butt. It came in the mail 2 days later, in perfect condition, no spillage at all. My kids and I popped all the plastic bags when the dog walked by... nutritious and fun? Oh, yes. I was instantly taken aback by how BIG this SOB is... 2lbs is HUGE. Not only that it comes with a rad scoop... I mean.. this is A LOT of powder that I can pack into this scoop.
