As the story starts we, the reader, are led to think this a straight adventure of a legionary officer and his companion. However, the broader fantasy world is dispensed one drop at a time. I loved the way the author piecemealed the world building throughout the novel. This prevented the normal heavy use of exposition or the dreaded info dump.

Selecting a, "free movie" merely directs you to another site that requires you to sign up for a free trial. TV shows like NCIS which I wanted provides one episode free which requires watching 15 minutes of commercials. Any additional episodes are pay per view. Far too much hassle being directed to sites like HULU, Netflix or other pay sites to get one month free. Better to simply sign up for a pay site that actually provides content. Ads for this indicates there are thousands of shows free. Only if able to watch them in one month, after that you sign up for other services or content is no longer available. Save your 10 bucks.

I bought these boots for a three day hiking trip. I wore them a few times to break them in first as you should any boot. They fit great and feel good. The reason for the one star is after only a few trips out the sole on one the shoes is starting to separate from the boot. I would expect this after somewhat extended use but not after roughly 30 miles of hiking. I will probably just super glue it back on but won't be trusting these for any extended uses again.
