When it's too hot for him he loves to get into some serious self grooming and tear out all his fur. All of it. When our a/c died in mid-August he began ripping out his coat until he was nearly naked by Labor Day. Moosh is expensive, but after just one bath he stopped tearing out big chunks of fur and settled down and here it is after about three days and he's not chewing his ankles or ripping skin off his back, and he'll be handsome again.
