  • Angie - Quality Sewing Machine

    I'm writing this review 2 years after purchase. This sewing machine was purchased as a Mother's Day gift or birthday gift (can't reminder) for my mom. My sister did the research since she's the crafty one and decided this was the perfect one. My mom is a self taught crafty person and hasn't used any of the fancy settings but she also figured out how to use the machine quickly. She's made so many beautiful items that are beyond boutique quality. I would say based on her usuage that it's very well made since she's had no issues with it as of yet.

    I love wireless headphones but the ones I tried either fell off easily or the battery life was too short. Also one only connected with Chinese commands. I tried some sports buds but fell off when I did even minor exercises. Then I found SENSO ActiBuds and found that they were everything they say. They stay on your ears, get as loud as you want, and the battery life last all day or night of continuous use. They quickly re-charge in a few hours. I am so happy with them I am ordering another pair for my wife!

    I was building a set of shelves that would be assembeled with picket screws when I decided I needed the K4 kit. I had a 20 year old aluminum pocket hole jig with a hardened insert that you just clamped to the work, but to get this lined up and clamped took a long time and I had about 90 holes to drill for this project. The Kreg K4 was so easy to set up and use and I was able to drill all the holes in just a fraction of the time. I like the K4 better than the K3 master because it's easy to clamp to the work bench with the clamp recess right in front. The old cumbersome jig I had before really kept me from using pocket screw assembly very much, but I can see this K4 getting much more use. It's a very good tool.
