This is the best brass polish I have ever used. It's way better than Brass-O and is not abrasive. The brass comes out looking almost silver. It stinks though, and you can't leave the lid off for long or it will all dry out and become useless. Wash your hands really well after using this stuff; it has a witch's brew of chemicals in it.
Looks to be identical to the OEM cross bars. I wanted to save a few bucks and figure I would give this a try. From what I read on Jeep forums the OEM cross bars are made of plastic as well and seem to operate and look the same.
I have 2007 Corvette, purchased the Mild & Wild in April 2015. It does not work and you can not return it. What a waste of my money. This company should be put out of business.
I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra that recently developed a coolant leak at about 255,000 miles. The leak was coming from under the lower intake manifold, forming a pool in the engine valley below it, and then dripping a stream of coolant down the back of the engine onto the transmission and to the ground. I was fairly certain the cause of the leak was the head gasket or the intake manifold gasket. Since it would take me about a day to remove everything to get down to lower intake and head gasket just to see what the problem was, I decided to try the Bars product. I have never once used a stop leak product in any car I’ve ever owned because I always thought the products to be gimmicks. But since this car was a daily driver (about 150 miles per day), I reluctantly decided to give it a try.
